I already called to the NAZA careline and ask them to check for me, why
there are 2 extra items being charged and is that necessary ? The 2 extra
items are diesel system cleaner and oil system cleaner.
The careline staff told me. These 2 items are not necessary to change.

Dear friends, next time those
who want to sent car to authorized service outlet, your must call the
branch to check the price first.

For those SORENTO owner that already sent you car for 10K km service, may
I know what is your bill charged?

Thanks.

Easy to deal with this problem. Just post Naza USJ these questions in sequence.

1. Are the diesel system cleaneer & oil system cleaner in the service manual?
2. No? Then did you ask for my permission and did I give you that permission?
3. No? Well, then. Insist they take these 2 things out of you Sorento.

Case closed. You don't have to pay.

As for Delo400. Is a very good oil and since you needed 10L, may as well
buy the 18-liters drums that cost around that much anyway.

My 2 sen.

Do you think they will remove these 2 things from my car after couples
of days? NVM, now I know what kind of ppl they are and wont go there
anymore.

May I know Delo400 good in term of what? and from which country?

Thank you.

The parent companies of Caltex is Chevron & Texaco. Do a search on Chevron
Delo 400 15W40 and you will get plenty of hits.

Years ago, I did emailed Chevron and was told all Delo400 worldwide follow
the same formulation. The Caltex Delo we get in Malaysia are blanded in
Singapore.

Things that I considered very good are:
1. Base oil. Delo 400 uses Group II+ called Isosyn. They develope that
technology and do licence it to others. FYI, Group III are being marketed
as Fully Synthetic so you are paying almost mineral price for an almost
Fully synthetic oil. I suspect some cpg may still use Group I simply
because they don't say what they are using. Had they are used Group II, I
am sure they will boast about it.

2. Fulfil almost all the various certification agency's top rating for
diesel oil. API CI, ACEA E7, JASO DH-1. You name it, they got it. FYI,
Rimula 15W40 only has the lower quality ACEA E3 for example.

What more do you want form an oil that cost RM140 for 18-liters?
