I already told Danny the Mazdaspeed items upgrades for a Mazdaspeed RX-8,
he will know how to check it. FYI, Mazdaspeed RX-8 launched in the JDM
market during first and third quarter 2004, so where got 2003 models?
First batch is Version I, production of 300 units and second batch is
Version II, production of 180 units.

Thanks again William, you are right about that. anybody can upgrade to
Mazdaspeed items but not tuned and test by Mazdaspeed :-) and it is
confirmed launched in April 2004.

Hi William, I just got my babe over the weekend. fantastic car to have, I
am enjoying every bit of it ;-) for those who is interested to know the
difference is the ride is solid and the way the engine rev... wow! I
wouldn't want to rev it to 8,500 yet... let me drive for a few days
more... the xenon headlights are great, took a sharp corner at 60km and
it just turn in naturally... suspension is harder than the norm but
that's how the grip and the handling comes in, you sacrify a bit on the
comfort but much better handling.

Did notice that the petrol consumption is higher than any car I drove
before... I guess it is true from all the forum that I read about the fc
of RX8. so far 170km ... half tank. so i guess full tank will give me
just about 340-350km.

More to come... let me enjoy what other pro and con of this babe.

Cheers guys.

1st tank of fuel. refuel 50 liters @ RM95 for 380KM. maximum rev up to
8,500rpm (four times) and change gear at around 3,500 to 5,000 rpm
(normal drive), very good respond for all gears. Mid range power not as
powerful as the first 3 gears, however, good enough. 7.6km/L for mixed
drive on this 1st tank. with more consistent drive should be around
8.5Km/L.

Engine oil level is still between full and low.

when brake is depressed, it has "Eeeee..." sound, may be brake pad need
to check for replacement?? will check this weekend.

Otherwise.. all in order. lots of enjoyment driving it.
