adam2,
The standard size for 17 inch is 215/45R17 and yours is 205/55R16 right?
Floating? Have you send your car for wheel balancing and alignment? Or
the tyres are all in same pressure?

adam,
I think change to 16 inch rims could help to improve the stability during
high speed.

Having powerful car does not neccessary meant for driving fast. So you
are not kiasi, you want to enjoy driving but not risk your life. There
are many factors contributes to a car that is fun to drive. Not just the
top speed! I would also test any car at the speed to my limit but not the
car's limit.
Just imaging while you pushing the pedal, when you got excited because
the car can still go faster.....suddenly a big monkey crossing the road
with high speed ???? Its not a slow motion lembu which you probably can
avoid. Errr.....I met one! Front bumper and lights broken, the feeling is
like hitting a car. But the monkey still can run away.

Yeah! I think so. I still can`t believe its bone is harder than my car,
especially at the highway speed.
But good also, at least I did not kill a life.
