I have an uncle who's really into cars and all his cars are using either Sabah or Sarawak plate (Q) with single digit. He has a Ferrari Modena 360 with 'Q' plate... I did ask him once why he's using these plates and according to him it's because the single digit numbers from those states are the cheapest...

I'm not sure whether that's the truth but that's what he said...

You dont need to reg for sabah or sarawak plate for cheaper r/tax. My fren has a 4.2 litre car with selangor reg but he pays sabah r/tax rate at rm1k++ only. For imported recond unreg cars there r ways to do it and it's not illegal coz there r loop holes..

Some ferrari /lambo even use "trade plate" those plates u see hanging on bumper while test driving, something like "S 234 A" coz the insurance n r/tax are much cheaper. However, the insurance coverage is very limited by using trade plate.

Check out the road tax on the windscreen.

For example last time blue sticker is for east malaysia, hence the road tax will be very very much cheaper.

Lobang is pay the road tax there in east malaysia and PAKAI the kereta here in peninsular malaysia.

Kena caught pay $@@$. Coz the second year for continual usage in peninsular you will have to pay "peninsular road tax price".

Sport cars like Lambo, Ferrari... Too fast for people to catch you
