I own 3 cars zx 8v, zx 16v and tx3 1.8 jerung. In comparison I feel tx3
is damn fast car at straight or even highway. Last time my tx3 setakat
230km/h kacang putih je and it takes shorter to reach top speed than
16v. In 16v best top speed I made abt 225km/h during my Jb outstation
toying with Merz e230. Merz tu siap angkat tangan la when we were at
210kmh at Yong Peng down hill sweeping corner. In corner 16v is king.
Stability is damn good and I believe at Ulu Yam boleh main dgn evo or
subaru punyer. And 16v engine sound when push beyond 4500rpm is
addictive. i am thinking to use unichip to increase mid range response
faster and quicker. from 120 to 220kmh within 10sec or less. Boleh ke?
I check the price abt rm 1900. Duit je blom cukup coz keta byk kene
maintain. By the way takde trip ke bros?

the TX-3 is hopeless in a corner regardless any suspension setup. they
dont cal it sampan for nothing. what engine you have in your TX-3?

by the way my friend has a TX-3 with a B8 turbo for sale.

Yeah u rite bro. The rear kind of sideway everytime u push harder in
corner. However that 'sideway' thing made me thrill duh. Mine still NA.
Change to Mazda NA 2 years ago.Im not kind of turbo convert guy. Less
headache. Ori ford engine was the best. Can rammed till 7500 rpm.
Unbelieveable for such old school car. Actually TX3 oso my dream car
when I was in 2ndary school. Those days, having sampan was the cooolest
thing in d world. Sentimental pulak aku ni...

i too test drove the TX3 before getting my 16V about 5 years ago...it is
a fast car but the handling was horrible...when i test drove the 16V, i
was hooked and still love driving even until today...

regarding you question about enhancing the midrange, i dont think the
Unichip itself will be able to produce the results that you want...10 sec
or less is a very optimistic figure and you will need invest a lot of
money on hardware of the engine if you want this kind of performance...

why dont you drop in a street performance cam to enhance your midrange
torque and power?

Street perfomance cam? How much it cost? I think standard car midrange is
ok especially above 4000rpm but I want the response to kick in much
faster. Which is better, less headache and cost efficient, Unichip or
change cam?

lynx tx3? Aku penah bwk keta ni, sedara punyer. Klu compare engine to
engine with sampan, on my opinion, sampan engine more power and quick
response. My sampan penah tapau satria gsr turun genting sempah.
bekampung satria tu tinggal beb. Main top speed dgn EG6 to Kuantan pun
berkampung tinggal. Cuba hang bagi tau aku, keta apa zaman 1989 to 1992
yg boleh ram 7500rpm, top speed 230kmh masa tu? Standard katak lg tu.

Anyway, since having my 16v, power aje takde makna jgk. Power without
control is nothing. It is about feel, security, pleasure, balance and
exclusivity. These are things that not many cars have.

One day, if I got extra money, I want to have Citroen DS. One of the
world most beautiful car ever created beside Jaguar E-Type and Gullwing.

I saw 2 units at Surjit's. Time will tell....

Actually E Type and Gullwing mimpi je beb. Takde 400k jagn harap la. Tp
Citroen DS mampu kot. Maybe aku ni suka simpan barang2 antik kot.

TX3 dgn ZX 16V kat Genting sempah? Memandangkan aku ada dua2 keta, 16V
win. Quicker in corner and higher torque.

But for end 80s car, a respek to tx3 1.8. So far the true hot hatch in
Msia. Agree?
