Good Morning to all citroen sifu,

im a newbie here. (zero knowledge in citroen). i've been driving a kembara
(very 1st model) all this while. with the petrol price keep on increasing,
i really cant tahan with the amount of $$$ that i pump in to feed it.

yesterday i came across a classified ad about this ZX. because i do not
have any knowledge or experience about citroen car, therefore i hope all
the sifu here can enlighten me with a words or two. should i consider it??

keep in mind that zx1.9 is a diesel AND auto

which means:

1) sluggish
2) town FC is about the same as a 2.0 manual ZX petrol - about 10 km/litre

FC is a little better for long distance cruising - not sure ... 13-
14km/litre?

bear in mind that diesel is only ... 40 sen cheaper than petrol and road
tax is about 700 a year for a 1.9 diesel

yes, it is a comfortable car to drive

in my opinion, do not rush into buying, learn more about it before deciding

so, do the math is see whether it's really cheaper to run a diesel

basically, how much do you travel in a year? i was considering a diesel
too... but I only do about 20 000km a year... so not worth getting a diesel

if you can do... 5000km or more a month... then ... u could consider it

The ZXD is the most economical available here at present
beating Kancil and Tiara's.......town driving 45 mpg or 16km/l
Outstation can give up to 60 mpg or 21.5 km/l
But for the value of the car it seems ok but depending on condition
Mileage,paint,etc.etc.
