Hi All,

I need your kind help to advise me on below problems:

1) I'm changing my compressor (air-con) vane type (rotary type) to crack
type (piston) based on the recommendation from the air-con specialist the
piston type can last longer and perform better. Is this true?
But according to Fresh Tool, both are the same. Fresh tool is charging
RM$800-900 for piston type and RM$350 for rotary type. I wonder if there
is any cheaper and better recommendation????

2) Secondly, I also intend to change condenser. There are three types of
condenser for 145/146 according to Fresh Tool, which he has. I'm not sure
which type should I purchase?

Pls helpp......Thanks a lotDead

I have used both. If you always do high revs, than maintain the original
type and that is rotary. Cooling wise both are the same.

TQ.

Hi SyedTaq,

Thanks for the feedback. Do correct me if I'm wrong?

1) Rotary type is recommended for high revver while piston is recommended
otherwise?

How about the cooling coil? Did you change it as well????

For item 1 you are correct.

Cooling coil, I changed to copper unit, which they claim will last longer
but less cooler. I would recommend to use the original cooling coil.

TQ.
