dear all,

i am a new owner of zx 1.8 (1999). I could say that the car was well
maintained by the previous owner. i say this because not only the car
looks good but the owner is very organised where he passed to me all the
receipts, guarantee cards (for the tyre, ecotint etc). I'm very satisfied
with the car until recently it gave me a problem. the problem is, this
has happened twice, when i was going down a sloppy road and slowly
throttle down, my car would suddenly loss power and the engine would turn
off. I have to wait for a few minutes before i can turn the engine on
again. I will send the car to the mechanic this week-end but before that
i would like to hear some feedback from you guys re my cit's prob.

errr...could be stepper motor...or speed sensor...i think..

if its your stepper motor you could get a recond stepper motor from mat at
harapan motor. he is operating at bolton industries hp no 0122786134
