chcnasir,
ask them to check the o-rings.
had the same problem before - need to top up after 1-2 weeks.
No leakage if car is running, but gas level will subside superfast if I
dont drive the car for 3-4 days.

If its a confirmed o-ring problem, but after replacement you still have
leakage, it could probably be somewhere else.

For advanced level of troubleshooting, what Jool Auto did to my compressor
was indeed amazing. They put in this one special substance in the sytem
and asked me to drive around and come back to them in a week or so.
Later they used 'laser'(wah! high tech, man..) to look for any physical
traces of these substance outside the system to nail down the leak spot.

Good luck!

(note: Couldnt be there when he used his 'laser' so I dont know if its
really laser or just UV light, but wtf cares, as long as my long headache
gone)

chcnasir,

The compressor gone kaput. Ah Fatt, the mechanic installed a recond
compressor.

Mind you, as stated in my earlier post, I was told by the Alfa specialist
that I need to replace the compressor and also the cooling coil. They
also replaced the switch which they charged me RM120++ ( sorry, can't
remember exactly the sum). I showed Af Fatt the old switch and was told
by him that the thing is still in good condition.

From what you wrote, I suspect that yours is a case of leaking problem.

Why don't you go to Ah Fatt? If you think I can be of help to you, e-mail
