I've been using the sephia for 1 year and 2 months. (bought 3 years
secondhand). Not because of the problem I mentioned before, the car is
great and easy to handle especially for city driving.
After few days of cooling period, I'm thinking to change the compressor
and the timing belt as well. Not worth it to trade in for another car.
Just maintain my sephia and waja.

engine oil (full synt), gear oil + servicing..it cost around Rm889 in
kluang....how about there in Key el....

Estimation/Average price :
Full Sync oil - RM 150
Gear oil (Dexron-111) - RM 50
Normal labour for servicing - RM 35
Therefore timing and bearing change will be approx RM650. I think it is
quite high as we can just purchase the belt and bearing at spare part
shop. Labour cost would only be approx RM100 (high side).
'tak...tak...tak.' engine sound..... I have not experience this in my
sephia. I don't know whether this is normal or not. Maybe
Kingsway,Chrislyv,ChekaiCar,Yasirmusa,Viper etc can give you some feedback.

no tack x2 sound from my engine.
better to source timing belts & other parts fr. s/parts shop.
much cheaper than SC.
temp. reading below 1/2 is normal.
yellowish headlights? yup i think most of us have this problem.
i think it's due to the hot weather in our country. u will have this
problem if ur car is under the hot sun daily.
i've seen some older sephias with bright sparkling headlights. eg. there's
1 sephia near my house. it's always park indoor.

My temp gauge slightly below half , for your info I am still maintaning
the same coolant for more than four year as per KIA korea recomendation
change every 100,000 km. Mileage at 108,000 km the next service I will be
changing the coolant next service. My head lamp still maintain clear , 80%
car parked under shade price of the light I am not sure , but the first
year was at about RM650. Fuel consumption mine, I can get about 550km on
long journey , town drive less than 400km . Recomend to use semi synt or
higher grade for the car . The best fuel that giving good mileage and
power goes to petronas primax.Your drive style plays a big role , be easy
on the pedal you might get better mielage. Please go trough the car user
guide manual you might found tips how to save fuel.
