Hi,
Need your advice. My amber check engine always light up because of
catalytic converter. I want to disable this sensor so check engine won't
light up. Can anybody tell me how to do it? Thanks.

Hi again,
I read from last Trajet thread that mazen removed his cat and replaced
with a small middle muffler and it is ok? Planned to do so!
Quote from mazen
"Hi mciamin , Hi All
I removed my cat a few months ago . my jet had clocked 135k . the
cat was ok
but i use leaded gas instead of unleaded , which means sooner than
later the cat
will be blocked . the price difference between the two types of gases is
50% .
I was told that a blocked cat damage the oxygen sensors , increased
temperature
and higher full consumption . I installed a small middle muffler as it is
called for
free in exchange for having the old cat which is then sold to the
recycling people .
I did not notice any difference in performance nor fuel consumption .
hope my input on this is useful .
Regards "

Hi korean,
Our Jet comes with 2 Cat converter. 1 at the front inside the exhaust
mainfold and there`s where 02 sensors are located too. 1 more cat is
located in the centre, which is only just the cat without any sensors. I do
remove the centre cat without any issue but if your Check engine light come
on and its due the cat issue, it`ll be the front not the centre.

Hi! I'm new here. Just join when in puzzle of which one to choose, Ria or
Trajet. But after found this forum, the answer is obvious.
I've gone for the window shopping today and found one salesperson
offering me 102K for GLS but exclude the leather seat.
So reedahal, appreciate if you can tell me the place (or email me) so
that I can get the same deal.
One more thing, is GLS come with sunroof? That salesperson told me that
it was for 2.7 litre model only. TQ

Hi Korean , Hi All
Like I mentioned before, I removed my so called second cat. 8 months
ago and things are normal . I have no idea if my jet.( 2000 cc, GLS XG ,
model year 2000) is the same as yours , because the cat that I removed is
surrounded by 2 oxygen sensors and it is located underneath the vehicle .
this description doesnot match what multi has said .
Hope I clarified things not made them more confusing .
Regards

Hi Jackson,
Yes, there is a oil cooler as well as the ATF cooler. Both are 2 different
item and cannot be use as one. IMHO, a ATF cooler is good enough for a
start. Oil cooler is slightly overkill unless your Jet is Turbo'ed....
