At the moment I am using wira 1.5 (2002) A and I find the fuel
consumption is very high and I am facing other problems too. Everytime it
rain water came in through the boot and flooded the carpet. Now I hv
decided to get a better car but I dont know if Matrix is a good idea. Can
anyone advise me more of matrix in terms of space, fuel comsumption and
would it fit a 6 foot tall person and luggages? And also whats the
current market value? Thanks in advance.

scenic, my colleague is getting a CBU matrix 1.6 auto and she just paid
the booking fee for tat. The price is 5k more than the CKD price. But if
you hassle the SA, the SA will get you few k discount. She got 2k
discount. So, I think not bad for CBU. But the CBU is single air bag
only, not like the original CBU last year one. Anyway, CBU anytime is lot
better than CKD. Chances of lemon is a lot lot less.

Is the thread still active? I just got myself a 1.6 auto 2003 Matrix for a good price. Lotsa questions to ask fellow Matrix owners.

Yes I did smile_tongue.gif

2 weeks on and the car is beginning to throw some tantrums. Got the belts and hoses changed. Power steering hose super expensive.

The car really drinks. Full tank at RM80/ 42 litres only got me slightly above 300kms. Sheesshhh.... smile_angry.gif

Power window driver side goes down but sometimes don't go up. Have to look into this.
Driver seatbelt sometimes refuse to be pulled ie locked. Gotta fix this.
