Hyundai Accent Owners

Agreed with you that the interior finishing of Accent is alot better,
compare to Waja. My wife drive a company car - waja (1 yr old), interior
is almost empty, nothing!! Everything is so plasticky, rough & unshinny. I
saw the Accent showcar in Carrefour just now. The interior gives a feeling
is exclusivity of Honda etc.
Not sure abt engine performance, steering, suspension etc. But the back
seat can be split 1-2 & fold down to create bigger trunk space, good for
carrying big flat things, such as folded table, big painting etc. The
interior cabin space nothing to shout abt.
For me, I won't touch Gen.2, I'll let those few thousands to be public
test driver for Proton. Not sure abt it's Campro engine, it's fixing, its
QC etc etc, no thankyou, & thankyou to the thousands testers.

Why want to throw your money away like that, give it to charity bodies,
help the poor & needy, that`s better for you & others.
Some said the cars looks outdated, may be true, which I didn`t comment
also, but interior likes kancil? I dunt think so.
I noticed that you seemed to bash korean cars & complained abt everyone
bashing proton & asked why ppl can`t be more patriotic. Just use your time
more productively & effectively. Read more of this forum & understd from
ppl, don`t waste time asking ppl, read what they said & you will know the
answer. 1 of the priniciple of `7 habits of Highly Effective PPl` - seek
to understand before having others to understd you - one of the highest
selling book in the world, go read it & it`s good for u.
by the way, what car are you driving?

money for a Proton again. Seen both the cars at the showroom. Test driven
the Accent too. The finishing is certainly more refined than Gen2. At
least the rubber lining didn't fall off or the boot was leaking....I
can't live with a car without a glovebox and having to open the boot by
going to the driver side to pull the lever. I think the fuel consumption
will certainly be better than my current 3 speeder auto wira.

Yes...anyone with accent can comment on the fuel efficiency of the car?
My preliminary research shows that this car really save petrol rather than
eat a lot. Most problem are people complaining about the small space
inside. But from what I see, it is as big as VIOS.
But smaller than Kancil?!!? You gotta be kidding...

I think the M'sia model didn't come with ABS & Airbag which is a big
dissapointment actually. Their model in other country actually come with
it. Govt really need to stress/force these on the car manuf. to do it.
Abubin,
We just have to ignore inda who dumped his money into rubbish dump for no
reason. I've replied you in the Nissan forum also, one more thing Sentra
comes with 2 airbag, ABS & EBD (for 1.8 model I belip). So for these
safety features Sentra is better than Accent.
cheers.

feature such as gen 2, but very disapointed why a lot of foreign made "not
include" this feature in Malaysia market, is it malaysia life not worth to
be "protected"?

controversy) in the Accent though. It ain't the Anti-locking Braking
System that we all know about. Here's a snippet from the Accent flyers:-
The PCV Brake System works by regulating each individual rear wheel to
actively prevent lock-up as a result or emergency braking, hence
providing steering wheel manoeuverability.
