true, a standard waja can almost reach 200km/h...no need to mod i used to reach that speed once...but was way stupid to drive that fast on our highways...
A lot of cars with today's technology can easily achieve speed beyond 200kmh. More importantly, we should be concern about how d car handles at that speed. Is d car stable at that speed? Can it brake safely? Sufficient stoping distance? Will it understeer at corners? Will d slight road undulation causes the car to be unstable? Body rolls at corners and etc.
I have seen some bikes, 125cc & below, overtaking me at a cruising speed of 110kmh on our NKVE. I always wonder if the bike needs to brake under emergency at that speed, how many will walk away and live to tell their "heroic tale" over a table talk? Been to so many countries and Malaysia is the only country I know that bikers (referring to those 125cc & below, because I feel these bikes are not build for speed rather than ease of commute) ride their bikes at speed beyond 80kmh & on any lanes on a highway. In fact I feel these bikes should not even be allowed onto our NKVE but thats another story all together.
So to drivers driving their cars at 200kmh are like these bikers riding their bikes at 110kmh. You may achieve this speed but if your car is not build to handle this speed, you might be courting trouble.
