i said no offense accordman.. you sound pretty sure that it'll blow my car
away.. hehe.. do you own a bentley, or did you just read it off some
article in some magazine? or do you drive an accord? i'm entitled to my
own opinion, and i can share it over this thread. if you don't like it,
ignore it.. don't make personal remarks.. never ever criticize my
opinion.. or we can take this matter outside.. on the track.. see you at
the merdeka race.. cordo..

Well i bought my Impreza when i was 31 so it has little to do with "Mid-
Life Crisis".

It had more to do with the fact that it had done 15,000kms, cost RM90,000
and whipped the @rse off my Porsche Turbo. I wouldn't mind if Subaru,
Ford or even Proton made it provided it was made to the same quality,
same reliability and same performance with the same price so the wise-
crack about it being a turbo charged proton comes nowhere close to being
realistic.

I'd love to see a turbo-charged Proton handle 310bhp like Scooby or Evo!
Then i'd love to see how much cash Proton would charge people for it
after the amount of re-engineering required. These are simply the most
affordable high performance handlers money can buy, and still have enough
space inside to fit your pet squirrel.

sorry if i've offended anyone.. won't happen again.. i came here to make
friends.. accordman, a general comment to my post would be sufficient..
you don't need to make specific comment on my car being wasted by a
bentley like you just did.. that's all i've to say about that.. btw, my
dad drives an accord.. non-vtec. good car.

Found yr coilovers already? I am eyeing a set of (used) Teins, need to be
reconditioned tho. I understand TopPerfect, Sg Buloh can do the job.

Whitenite,
What to do. Times are bad, had to sell off my H22 and put back the old
SOHC VTEC 2.2. Sob sob. Why bother with the old set of TEINS? How mch
are they? A new set at N1 only costs about $3500 now. I'm really happy
with my TEIN springs and stock shocks. Perfect combo of nice ride height,
performance and comfort.

Peace. You've had your say, I've had mine. Let's just forget about it OK?

you also bring a Bentley Turbo. Ha,ha,ha,ha,ha,h,ha,a.ha

here's Jeremy Clarkson's say on the subject.
The first 3/4ths of the article is waffling of course (classic JC!)
leaving only the last bit to say he really likes the 2 cars, e8 n latest
STi.

http://www.timesonli...-642974,00.html

to quote JC:
"On the sort of twisting ribbon of tarmac ... there is no road car made
today, no low-slung, knuckle-dragging Ferrari, Lamborghini or Porsche,
which could even get close."

... guess that excludes Protons too, turbocharged or otherwise!!

Wahhh.... what izzit? it's a bird, it's a plane, it's a rocket, it's a
supermmmmm....nope it's a flying Celica....

Sorry it's a joke...

It's really impressive to achieve 295bhp on wheel. Never seen a celica can
reach that... must spend a lot of $$$ to get this figure...
