keon, it would be great if the event /your travels are blog on the web. it would surely make
interesting reading. I guess it may require quite an effort on your part but hey the rewards are
compliments & acknowledgements you receive online!!
i should be able too keep up with you in straights by then

spyderclub malaysia? well essentially i wanted to find enthusiast who loves/like B road travels.
funny story was I was once been "snub" by a local well-known "esthablised ze-foreign marque
sports car club" (invitation came when one of their commitee member saw but mistook mine for
their similar "marque". But came silent later when it went up for permission to join travels.
anyway, i digress.
so far I find it easier to get similar marque to join me, one maybe a common identity & do share
similar passion for trunk roads & places. Currently one other EVO driver would mind joining us to
cover spirited drives on hill roads.
The many other chaps (other marques), however (some) cited as they are still realing from fuel
hikes & would prefer to limit to leisure drives or weekend drives (within city limits).
However, because we do (sometimes), travel fast & would prefer "matured" enthusiast (not 2F2F
type mentality drivers) who wont simply endanger themeselves or others in road trips.

sounds good.
I'm still a memeber of the Dutch MR2 club, this is the largest MR2
community in the world. They organize B-road trips, car shows and track
days. It's really fun to do, when you all haven the same passion.
How many memberd do you have yet?
Do you already have a website?

yeah, I heard of the large dutch MR2 community. (web)
haha, i had a MR2 mk1 years ago, & the passion for nimble sports car hasnt died off. (despite
mine (mk1) having a misfortunate end-tale).
yeah, the MR2 (mk2) community is pretty active a while back but as the years rolled by, many of
them moved on & the younger members arent as involving in road trips. Maybe it the age of car
(source for parts maybe difficult) & maybe they have different views on sports car ownership.
unfortunately in KL, the active MRS group is small (5-7) (JohorBahru has 15-20 active). most
chaps (KL) would indulge in EVO, celicas, skylines etc. Other MRS owners are reculsive old mens
& young ladies!! but i`ve yet to contact them all of them.
It would diffinately be fun when the community grows (i suspect there would be more to come
when the pricing of this car goes into an "affordable" pricing bracket for some. (Cost of car
ownership isnt cheap & majority of (common) people would prefer a 4 door sedan /sporty coupe
over pure 2dr sports car indulgence
