since you brought up the topic sorpoh, just perplexed by a person driving
a pearl white Nissan Fairlady 350z with number plate STEVEN on the North
South Highway heading to KL. Saw it twice.. today and a month back when i
was driving down from Ipoh. He/She always zig-zag in between traffic like
he needs to use the loo so much..

It should be going for sub RM170k next year. But the high road tax is
really a put off.

Wah, Sorpoh also a 350Z fan?
I had tested this car in Year 2004, during my biz trip to Japan. It was
selling somewhere 4.5 Million Yen (can't recall exactly the price).
Imagine how money is being taxed for you to drive it here (100Y = RM
2.8 )
I see this car everyday now, coz there is a bungalow converted used car
showroom just near my house... :)

Hi Sorpoh,
Not too long actually:)
Look for the all new Nissan GTR. Very gorgeous. But , frankly, I prefer
the current coupe Skyline V35 ( similar 3.5L VQ35 engine as the 350Z, but
slightly de-tuned to 280hp). And, it's N/aspirated engine.
Which Type-R ? CTR? I've also driven the ITR DC5 2.0L. Totally different
experience.
350Z has lots of torque in lower rpm,I like the V6 engine roar. And
engine redline about 6500rpm only, if not mistaken.
Type-R low rpm is gentle, and it needs to be rev-ed high to get the
thrill. Real life begins about >5500rpm....
Since there is 350Z being run in Sepang, maybe you should start a thread,
350Z vs Type-R , and see how's the response gonna be :)

cheokhong,
new GTR really gorgeous..it launched at last month's tokyo motor
show...it has exactly the same power output as 911 (473bhp) and 588Nm of
torque...but it's heavier...1740kg...i rather post GTR Vs 911...lolx..coz
it might be 911 killer =O)
bout the Type-R..i mean the latest one...that's already on the
road...they had a race with DC5...n they say...civic is more powerful den
DC5 n yet it win too....civic 225bhp at 8000rpm max power and 215Nm at
6100rpm max torque.....even HM had locked up but some of the buyers
already dismantel it...i salute them...
well,i wont post 350z Vs Type-R....coz both got diff things n diff unique
parts...i love this two car..so dun wan so many comment..hehehee...both
for me is perfect...fairlady is nice from out look...it look kill me
dy...but i prefer the interior of type-R...well both is diff...i saw
before at sepang..japan motor show this year...even the first runner up
also fairlady...those 5 cars at there is so impress..so marvelous...with
all the body kit on..and the engine sound is so great...so nice with
those colourful stickers too...heheee =O)

350Z`s design already many years, yet still fresh and bold looking,
styling much contribution of Renault. New GTR is too futuristic, in my
opinion. You know who is the major exterior designer?
Dubbed the most powerful Nissan production car ever produced. Can also
compete with another car, BMW M5 5.0L V10 500hp.
