Hi wallacelee,

Thanks for the offer.. it would be too costly to recalibrate it to a size
36 carburettor. How much by the way are the asking price for the IDF
40's? Are they straight off from an Alfa 1.7 Boxer engine?

Best regards,

hi,

yes, i understand that, but it is not really too costly, Weber parts are
still available "easily" in Malaysia, so i think the price for the
jetting, venturis, and auxilarry vents should not be too expensive.....i
think. even if you go to the extent of ordering the gasket/oring kit,
pump diaphragm, or jettings, they are still cheap. i think new vents aux
vents are a bit costly though.

the asking price is RM500 for a pair and yes they are taken off an Alfa
boxer engine as the manifolds are still there. i did not really take a
close look at the condition though.

Hi tkw,

I am a newbie on this thread. Just curious to know. Do you manage to get
an Alfa Sprint body? Since you have mentioned that if you can't get a
Sprint you may go for an early 33. Well, I have one early 33 but the
engine is kapoot. I am willing to let it go if the offer is reasonable.
Thanks and best regards.
