I myself plead guilty for sending my car to snow car wash... Frown

Wanted to try CARS package of polish+wax+cushion cleaning though, but no

I've sent my Kembara to CARS for a polishing and wax treatment. I would
say that they did a good job. I just went for a off-roading trip and the
car was filthy with mud and scratches. After the treatment, the car was
shining and had a smooth top layer feeling. Of cos, when it rain, the
water beads. They have several packages. Maybe you could try it.

Agree, g88. I will never ever let other people do detailing on my car,
not even my wife.

Dear Koffing,

A good place to start :-

http://www.meguiarso...=&threadid=2409

A bit hard-core/fanatic, I know. But the sense of satisfcation you get
after you complete the cycle is GREAT.

P/S :- I am not asking you to buy their products, but the cycle surf as a
basic guideline on how you can detail your car.

Thank you.

I think new car better do it at home. My cousin took delivery of a brand
new imported Estima, black color. After a trip to Melaka, took the car to
car wash. After wiping, saw some scratch marks on the body... Wah lau damn
sakit hati lah. So new car owners, better do it yourself cos if outside car
wash scratch yr car, they will say already there when they wash yr car...

thanks bro Zhao Yun and David Coulthard for the infos..

yeah, reading the thread now..

I got one more question.. why they always say that the maintanence for
black color car is difficult?

also, under the hot sun, i can see those circular lines (not scratches)
on my car.. is this normal? due to polish? can it be removed??

thanks
