dear turbo,

If anybody say gen2,waja, proton is good does that mean anybody is a
desperate PE SA? U also sound like one of Honda SA then. :) anyway, i am
driving my gen2 across the state as my job require me to travel all over
malaysia. Try drive one gen2 and decide yourself if you don't believe
gen2 can smoke city in highway or not. Drag race, honda vtec might win
but in the highway...top speed wise, gen2 will win. Gen2 standard
(manual) could easily reach 190 and 200 with ease. the handling is far
better than city vtec (at that illegal speed). i had drive a city vtec
before.(pinjam kawan). peace.

Turbo:Was told by someone that a manual Waja can run around circles of a City
VTEC? A Gen2, I thought this was a well known underpowered piece of junk?
I say, I wonder what the heck is he smoking.
=========================================================================
I was wondering who's doing the smoking.

Briefly driven a Gen2 and was very impressed by it's handling and
stability. When you talk about racing, the road does not necessarily be on
the straight and level all the time. There are corners and that's where
handling & stability are just as important as outright power. Don't believe
me? Just go put skinny tires on a super sport cars and you get the idea.

manual Campro should have no problem smoking a City VTEC...
Campro might lose on the launching.. but when it hits 3rd gear... I guess,
City will have to start putting on the signal lamps and give way..

and also, for sure.. it all depends on the drivers.. most people doesn't
dare to go too high-rev.. where for Campro.. it screams when you really go
high-rev.. hehe... you'll start to feel abit of urge on around 3k+ rpm,
then comes 4k rpm.. it just goes all the way.....

d driver wif titanium
balls will win

oso, dont compare power
alone as its meaningless

compare power to weight
ratio, including drivers'
weight n d weight of d
unwanted things in d boot

Given the same driver and the same track, Gen2/Persona will win hands down
especially in curvy road or high speed.

Up and down genting highland, very too often, I 'smoked' a lot ( I mean
many) of City VTECs ... none came close to even smell the smoke .......
VTEC doesn't mean anything if your car can't turn.

Haiya.....

CITY=Bandar=Ä®
This car is confortable, practical for city driving, not a race car...
Economy for below 3k rpm....Example:Pontian-Muar=RM10(>120km in normal
road).

Wrong purpose ! If u all want to use your car as a race car, then Type R
(MME Champ), GTi & similar la.....

Anyway, next month Civic Type R MME Challenge winners including me....
Enjoy next month in Sepang Circuit !Cool

be those who own vtec is a defensive driver maaa... thinking safety
maaa... Although their City equip with ABS, EBS, airbag etc... they may
feel humble also maaa... Pls check proton cars... what the equipment?
just cukup makan or minimal only... Don't feel like the inferiority one
that always want to show of everything but have nothing actually....

Hey, all you guys with small "little" engines (Proton, City, Myvi, Vios)
think they are driving a racing car. How much power can their
small "little" engines produce?? Want to race fast, then get a real car
not some toy cars. All these talk about "smoked a lot", "can't even smell
the smoke" makes me laugh.
