OK this is how I usually wash my car, I go section by section and after
I'm done with a section, I'll rinse it, then continue on to the next part.
Wash top, rinse top, work on bonnet & fender, rinse, windows, rinse and
then the doors and finally the wheels. Dry the car and apply tar removar
& tyre shine.
Is this method better or just scrub the whole car then only rinse?
Used to do this however I find the suds dripping down and drying up,
leaving a trail of black dirt and have to rescrub that part again

I would split the car and wash top to bottom and not panel by panel. eg
Roof.
Down to lower edges of glass.
Bonnet/boot lid.
Top sections of doors/fenders.
Front and rear panels.
Lower sections of doors/fenders.
Rinsing in between and starting with a good wetting from a hose all over.

I do it about the same as 440ci. Top to bottom. roof. Then frint and rear
windscreen together with all 4 windows, then bonnet and front side fenders.
Boot and rear side fenders. 4 doors. And finally the bumpers and tyres.

A lot of way to wash your car....
Me... always with a strong and steady stream of pipe water an a long
hose... no need high pressure machine.... always wet your car thoroughly
first before shampooing to loosen the dirt... shampoo quickly all over and
then rinse off thoroughly in one shot... then wash tire... then walk
around car with a bucket of water to take care of the missing spot and
details... always wipe dry your car with clean and absorbent cloth to
prevent spotting.. do not wash in direct sunlight...
To save cost, leave your car in heavy rain, wash with shampoo in the
rain... wipe with dry towel after rain stop or under your garage... do not
wash car in heavy thunderstorm...
