Painting exterior plastic trims

would be the trims that make up part of the door frames, around the fog
lights and side mirrors. I was hoping that by doing this, there would be
lesser need for maintaining the trims with conditioners, etc so that they
don't look faded.
Any advise?

tropical weather. Painting over those parts can give it a fresh look and agreeably does reduce the
headache of maintaining it frequently. But it can't usually replace the original look and feel of the
trims.
Hope that helps!

chemical over it, before spraying the paint. This is to make sure the paint
sticks to the trims. If not, it will peel off.
Saw the spray painter doing it, but he did not let me see what chemical....

Thanks for the feedback. I presume it's doable then (and dare I say common
as well) but you would have to sacrifice some aesthethics in terms of the
original look and feel of the trims. Assuming it is done properly and
professionally, it should be reasonable durable, correct?
A question to you Macdude: Can you guys do it a Autodetailing?

first layer called adhesion promoter base paint. over here, you have to
describe to the paint seller that you need the bumper cat, so that the
color paint can stick to the bumper...

Yeah... he's very busy nowadays. Got a new office in bangsar so he's pretty packed-in. Let's arrange
a TT next week or something. Get some of the old horses in here for drinks.
