slightly below the speed limit to annoy them. Ignore their flashing and
horns and wat so ever antics they display. Just continue your journey at
your original speed and better still if slower a bit. Once there this young
FFFF that just cucuk me for fun along residential area, so what i do? I
follow the speed limit, which i think is 40kmh, but i drive at 35, and
occasionally speed up to give the arse false impression that i wanna speed
up then i slow down again.
----------
That is the worst advice ever. On a highway, if someone wants to overtake
you on the right lane, YOU LET THEM. What do you have to lose by letting
them overtake you when they are obviously wanting to go faster?
I think ego comes into play for a number of road hoggers and also some
severe inconsiderations.
All I have to say is, if there are no cars behind you, drive as fast or as
slow as you want on the fast lane. However, if there are cars behind you
that obviously want to overtake, let them.
When I am driving around 100 on a highway and a car speeds up behind me, I
let him/her pass. Why bother with the pressure and risk? Wouldn't it make
life easier for you to let a faster car pass than to mess with it?
That's what pisses me of the most. Most road hoggers are sometimes even
slower than those in the middle lane and yet they do not let up due to
repeated attempts to get them to move left.

'hogging speed' first. If they are driving at speed limit, then you
should keep distance & give some time for them to move to the slow lane
mar...
Remember, by tail-gating, you are no better than a road hogger...
Some ppl just think that their grandfathers own the highways wan...if you
are already breaking the law, you have no right to criticise others...

Original Post : Before anyone want to condemn those road hoggers on fast
lane, pls define
'hogging speed' first. If they are driving at speed limit, then you
should keep distance & give some time for them to move to the slow lane

1) There is no such thing as 'hogging speed'. If there are no cars in front
of you but many cars behind, you are road hogging regardless of speed.
2) I am sure people do give others time to move out, it's just some idiots
who like you said, think it's their grandfathers highway that refuse to budge.
3) If there are no road hoggers, how can there be tail-gating?
Regardless of any of us breaking the speeding law, hogging an overtaking
lane is wrong and dangerous for everyone.

caves-nsc, i noticed car can travel faster in left lane compare to right
lane. may be this is our mentality problem, no matter you drive fast or
slow, always use right lane(FAST LANE).

My case is the other way round, I drive a twin-cab pickup, minding my own
business, keep left, follow the speed limit, and there is always people
likes to breathe my exhaust fumes
