The traffic light at the corss road of Jalan Bukit Minyak and Jalan
Butkit Minyak traffic light(Mark T12) at Seberang Perai Tengah have some
light buld blew out, all the red light from Jalan Bukit Tengah heading
south was not functioning, although the light heading south was red
motorist do not notice, and they cross, it's dangerous to other motorist at
other direction.
I had call 1-80088-MPSP the MPSP Perbabdaran Seberang Perai( Perai ) last
week, until today (1/1/2008 6.00pm) do not see action from MPSP yet,
So I try to call Traffic Police in Sberang Perai Tengah ( 04-5301977 ) in
the morning aroud 9.00am telling them about their situation, and
told them that need their help, they reply me they will inform MPSP.
In the Afternoon, about 3.00pm, nothing had been done, I make another
call to the traffic police againt, telling them we need them to send someone,
at least to temporary guide the traffic, and they reply me they will send
someone hear to help.
6.30pm in the evening, the situation still the same, not a single soul
from both MPSP and Traffic police appear at junction, some motorist southbound
still dangerously crossing the juction didn't notice the traffic light at
their direction are red.
I make another phone call to Traffic Police Devision urging them to send
traffice police to help to guide the traffic, and the person in the phone
reply me that, "the Traffic Polce is busy, we have amny location need to
cover, do you think the Police need to work 24 hours".
I wonder where are all the traffice police had gone to, running around
the whole BM town and Perai Area, do not see any traffice police, other
than on the road, where should they go.
I have no choice, I make another attempt to MPSP again at 7.00pm, and the
reply is, they will send some one tonight to fix it, hopefully they will
act before any accident happen.
I urge anyone travelling in this road and any traffic light junction had
to be extra careful.

The Traffic light finally repair after I email to the Yang Pertua MPSP.
Get to know you are in Johor, how is the traffic situation in Johor, I
was told it's very congested too. is the traffic police there carry out
their duty.
The road condition here never change, it's start to collect toll even for
such a small area.

mind changing it faster please do come to Penang. Not to mention a
kamikaze biker and car scratching contest and chaotic Penang Bridge sight
seeing at peak hour.

build some flyover bridge from Skudai to JB Town(Custom). But on the way
to JB town(Perling) hv one flyover still in progress(to be complete soon)
so there is only slow moving area when morning, noon and after office
hour. Your friend mention congested, may be he said near the Malaysia
custom, very heavy traffic..... only smooth on Sunday morning.
This weekend will back to Penang again, will pass the area see the
condition.

Bayan Baru Length 2.4KM took 4 year, the 100M length bridge at Bayan Baru
Free Industrial Zone took more than 2 years, and yet to be complete, they
both break the longest KM/Year Building record.
Not to mention the pothole at the road in Penang, even the newly
re-surface road is kind of wave and uneven.
If Proton or Perodua want to test their vechicle, they are more than
welcome to test their car hear, no need to spend million of Ringgit to
build a test track.
