continue living."
Every human being is born with the sense of self preservation, the
instinct & will to survive. Those who chose to ignore the high risk of
great danger, especially when they already know a fatal mishap had
happened before, are the idiots.

On one end of the spectrum, are the rich bikers, with price of their ride
equal to the price of two Kuntchill - or more. These are people who use
the bike as a toy and ride (almost without exception) very responsibly.
For these category of riders, even if they die riding, their family are
covered. Chances are the family will inherit more (in cash terms) than
when the rider is alive.
At the other end of the spectrum, are the poor bikers who ride for a
living. These are the one who works as a peon, and almost all will have
dependents to which the family hope for support. Without this rider, their
dependents will have no roof of food to eat. Ironically, these are the
category of people that drive irresponsibly on the road - who kenot wait a
few second for red light (how much is that precious seconds in monetary
terms?), who weave through traffic without regard to the value of their
life.
These are the category that are oblivious to the danger that they poses to
themselves, and the consequence of their action and somehow seems to ask
for other people to take care of their life. Yet if they die riding, their
dependents would be the one who suffer. (In fact die is probably the
easiest route, what if they are a vegetable that requires someone to nurse
continuously?)
The cubchai life is cheap. Yet, they want to shor cut time as if their
precious seconds in time that they save should be worth millions.
If one think about it. It is the big bikers that needs to run fast, so
that they can go back to their plush bunglow and enjoy. But, it turns out
that, it is the poor cubchais that seems to rush back to their Setinggan
Heights to feed their goldfish in aquarium. Perhaps, it is better to leave
the world early and hope it is better in the hereafter. But then, what
about the poor kids and wife?

lar... each time i go work face problem with bikers...
at jalan cheras... jam every morning... if we're in the middle lane and
wanted to change to third lane, in order for us to use the tidle flow
road.. those motorbikes always horn at us... why ler..? the bikers are
always in the middle lane....and lot's of them, just like a train.. if we
have chance to change to third lane, we'll signal up.. and slowly turn to
the right lane lar.. but they still wanna horn.. showing finger to us that
we blocked their way... so who is to blame ? the car or what..??

changing lane, in the middle to the left.. it was so close.. if i dun

Say RM 2,000 monthly (I doubt it). But just example for calculation.
Manrates per minute = 2000/21days/8 hours/60 minutes = 19 sen per minute.
So saving 1 minute of his time it is 19 sen, and for that amount it is
worth risking life and limbs?
Poor man`s arithmatic.
And what rights does it gives for the poor cubchai to break the law?
Bacause the guy is poor makes it OK to break the traffic rules?
As for the rich kid... well at least he got money (inheritance is still
money) to back up his/her flash.
At least if he/she dies, dies happy and the family still have the bunglow
to stay!

e.g., pizza delivery boys, courier guys, e.t.c.., he should be even more
safety-conscious! If anything happens to him, his rice bowl will break.
What is the use of hiring a courier guy if he can't deliver parcels?
This contrasts with those who ride bike for recreational purposes - these
riders probably will be on PAID medical leave should they are injured
while riding.
As mentioned by some brothers, motorists should watch out for riders, but
the buck does not stop there. Riders should practise defensive riding -
always think that the rest of the road users are fools who don't give a
hoot to your presence and will bang you if you do not avoid them.

whether on 18 wheels, 4 wheels or 2 wheels. And the people who do these
are just liable to get themselves middle-fingered.
My 2 sen.
