4 Wheeler`s View

"It was raining this evening and the Sprint Highway towards KL was jammed
up. Reason - motorcyclists taking shelter under the flyover!

Don`t these idiots learn that it is illegal to use a flyover as a rain
shelter? Why don`t they carry rain coats or other waterproof protection
on their bikes for rainy days? Do we need another fatal accident before
the polis take enforcement action?

Because of these lazy idiots, the whole highway was brought to a
standstill! "

"It was sunny this afternoon and the Sungai Besi toll plaza was jammed
up. Reason - drivers queuing to pay toll and unexpected traffic volume at
holiday season!

Don`t these idiots ever learn on how to avoid jam? Why don`t they install
smart-tag or use touchngo cards? Should we wait the jam to grow till 10km
long until the authorities realise and open more toll booths, or make
smart tag/ touch and go card compulsory for every vehicles?

Because of these lazy idiots to install smart tags and use touch n go
cards, the whole highway was brought to a standstill!"

Motorcyclists are always blamed nowadays. They contribute to 70% of the
road fatalities etc etc. But are they to blame? I dont think so. We see
lots of minor accidents everyday. Rear ended, skidded to pile ups. The
damage is only to the car, and human injury is usually neglectable. I am
talking about accidents <60kph. But when a car grazes a bike, its a
different story. Motorcycle damage is neglectable, but human injury could
be fatal. If not injury, they get run over. I dont blame drivers that dont
notice this fact, as the G is also blaming motorcyclist as the culprit.

3 weeks ago, i was riding to work when this bit*h in a BMW honked at us(1
bike on the left lane and another with me in the middle lane, I was riding
then). WTF, so what if u drive a beemer? That bit*h could have overtaken
us at the right as it was clear. Pissed off, i raised my hand, tapped, and
redline thru my gears. She was no where to be seen at the next traffic
lights. So who has the faster machine here, bit*h? And i dont blame
motorcyclists who speed. Sometimes they have their reason to do so. BTW, i
was not road hogging and we just moved 30 meters away from the traffic
lights.

But when we ride slow, we are tailgated. The cars, buses and trucks tries
to squeeze through us just because they dont wanna lose momentum and
maintain their speed. When they manage to overtake, they himpit us. When u
drive, u get pissed off too dont u?

Conclusion, pls give bikers a break. Pls give bikers more respect. If not
respect, at least notice them. Put yourself in a bikers shoes. Please be
more considerate. Its the same as u get bullied by a bus or lorries. BTW,
i also drive sometimes.

Bro,
In order to get noticed, the biker has to make himself noticeable. I'm
sure you have seen stealth bikers along NS h/w at night?

Bro N16EX,

About those stealth bikers, go ahead and ram them. These includes those
that zig zag in and out of traffic, without side mirrors, noisy exhaust,
no headlamps and lots more. Those illegal riders, go ahead and mow them
down before they cause other ppl injury.

I am talking about bikers in general. Bikers that sells ice cream, breads,
postmen, uncles and pakciks that have children to feed at home. Bikers
that feel that it is dangerous to continue their journey in a heavy rain.

Being a driver of a car and also ride a bike, I would say the bikers are
often not noticed when 4 wheelers are changing lanes and coming out of a
junction. Do you remember the advertisement that was aired sometime back,
the argument was that bikers are not noticed.

So take some back and notice the bikers when it rains and they take
shelter under the bridge.

If some riders don't know how to value their life, let it be. If they get
kill, there are the one to be blame. Anyone of you feel great by killing
other on the road by purpose? It's obviously a very dangerous thing to do
by taking shelter under the flyover. Motorcyclist should be prepare for
rain by carry along a set of rain suit.

There are morons on both 4 wheels and 2 wheels. How do we educate them? Is
harsh enforcement the only answer? Changing lanes without signalling,
tailgating, etc. all can lead to death, destruction and is a highly
unpatriotic act.

When will Malaysians ever learn?

I agree that there are lots of morons around, both on two wheels as well
as 4 wheels. Sometimes, I wonder if those 4 wheel morons just graduated
from 2 wheels coz the way they drive is very similar - ignoring red
lights, going the wrong way up a one way street, doing u-turns anywhere
they like etc.

If you want to compare, you could have chosen a better example - like why
we always get a big traffic jam when there is an accident. All those
morons on the opposite side of the road jam up the highway just to take a
look at the accident, causing an unnecessary jam.

Some time ago, I witnessed an accident. When I looked in my rear view
mirror I noted a motorcyclist coming up behind me and I noted that he was
going WAY TOO FAST for that road because we were approaching a traffic
light. After passing me and about four cars in front of me, he crashed
into a car trying to change lanes. Although the car flashed his
indicators, I was pretty sure he did not see the motorcyclist because one
moment, he was not there and the next moment, CRASH!

So I said to myself, taiseh Mr Motorcyclist - u were going to fast for
the road conditions and you did not anticipate moron 4 wheel drivers
switching lanes suddenly.

Frankly I think that the majority of motorcyclists deserve their
accidents. Only a minority of road users observe traffic laws diligently.

Always remember that if you are a motorcyclist, you stand to lose more if
you have an accident. So it pays to be less reckless.
