Hi, I'm new to AutoWorld forum. I have a 2004 Citroen X'sara Picasso. I realised only now that the oil stain in my car porch is actually from my Citroen Picasso, a year after I moved into my new house! It is still leaking because the floor of the exact spot that I park my car is always moist with grease. Sent my car to my mechanic and he confirmed that it is gearbox oil. Told me that he doesn't do gearbox servicing/gasket replacement. Anyone knows where in Klang Valley can I go to get it fix? Thanks.

Some mechanic might not be familiar with Citroen and will not attempt doing it. Worst case send back to Citroen SC....

There are many Citroen specialist in KV - USJ,Gombak,Sg.Besi. Just search back in this forum and you will find their contacts.

if the leak is small, then don't loose too much sleep over it. Its not going to break it. I have drove back from SG to KL with about 400ml (less than what it should have) with it and have not seen any significant negative effects. Off course, I top it back up, that I had to top up that amount. Thats how I found out the amount.

If you have to drop the GB and split the GB case up, its 4k job and thats a transmission specialist shop and not your fav mechanic shop price.

If you have overfilled the ATF, it can also come out via the breather hose, or leaked through some of the sensor fitting hole parts. Check those areas. Cleaning them up an observe again to trace the source of the leak.

I know a GB specialist shop that does AL4 GBs also (which does mine), its in Subang industrial estate area (Batu Tiga).
