Hai, Folks. My cousin want to buy a car and he prefers Volkswagen. So me and my cousin went to a showroom which at setapak. We have saw there was a demo car which is Volkswagen Passat (year 2014/2015), the price is about RM108,888K. Is it a good deal?

Sorry, I remembered wrong the price, actually the info is years 2014/2015, price is RM108,888

I think the current promotion for passat is 2016 model selling at 139k.. but this model is famous having gearbox problem.

That is the 7 speed DSG, right? but funny thing is my friend who has this Passat have no problem with his gear box. He even track once in a while in Sepang.....

Roughly they do drop around RM30k for demo car. Price is good, just make sure the condition is still good.....

Went to see again last Sunday. The condition is good enough. They also sell many VW Jetta. Heard the salesman said it's about 60 cars~

The current promotion for Passat and Jetta is they are clearing their old stock manufactured 2014 and 2015, and not their demo cars

Not sure of polo, seldom hear of their problems but then I think less sales anyway. Mostly problem seems to be the 7 speed DSG gb
