Hi All,

I am looking for a second hand latio 1.6 hatch(or Suzuki Swift) as my spare car. I just cannot believed those Mudah dealer indicating 2008,2009 model are merely 70-80k km done after more than 8-9 years on the road.  Any possible way to check the genuine mileage beside the booklet service manual? Both car is in the range of RM 30-40K and is just nicely into my budget.

 

As both car are Vti and 4 speed Auto, I presume it is proven and reliable city car? unfortunately, both doesn't come with ESP. Any comments on both car?

 

Any Bro/Sis there own a Latio/Swift interested to let go their Latio sport/Swift?

Its entirely possible to drive 8k/year. I bought a 1 year old Myvi which had only 5k milleage. Its been 5 years, and my ODOmeter is not even touching 50k.

 

Anyway, the Latio is quite a heavy drinker. 3++km full tank. I like its size, its handling and overall feel, but the seat fittings (clips and plastic covers) break VERY easily. I'm quite HEAVY so the driver seat side plastic cover for the incline position comes off EVERYTIME!

 

Swift is small, and good.

Low mileage is possible but then cars coming from Used car, most are afraid the odometer have been turn back......
