solved yet?

i have an idea... if u can get (or source yourself) the fibreglass-aramid type wire sleeve that commonly used in voltage regulator winding terminal and then place it on the stripped wire...u can call it solved already....because if not mistaken those type material can withstand oil and high temperature....

Nope, haven't done anything yet...no free time. But thanks for the suggestion bro. Another option for me and will dwell further on this one. For the time being, I'm betting on the following for the fix. The Rescue Tape has a continuous working temperature range of 200 deg C but no mention on succeptibility to oil though. I've put it on for the temp fix and will check on it later on when I got the time to open-up the box again

As it is named "Rescue" should be short term only, not long term use....
