Well I dunno about expensive or cheap but BETTER waxing products are not
abrasive i.e.
they don't strip your lacquer or paint away. The WORSE ones are abrasive
and work like a
cutter i.e. they strip a bit of the lacquer or paint each time you use it
so that ultimately your
paintwork is either exposed to the elements or worn thin.
I remember using a not-so-good waxing product (very well known and
reputable brand but
errr.. cheaper) for my polishing... about once a week and by then end of
about 6 months I
had no lacquer left and the paint followed in short order.
By no means is this exhaustive but I have found that Autoglym and
Meguairs are very very
good- the shine lasts a long time too with care and the use of proper
(i.e. their) shampoos
when washing.
Maybe other people can share their experiences?
Cheers

Glaze
3. Wax - 3M Show Car Paste Wax & Rain Dance - 3M still better.
4. Wet Sanding - 1,500 & 2,500 grit sandpaper
5. Trim - MG Foam, MG trim & MG Tech Series
6. Wheels - MG Hot Wheels
7. Car Shampoo - AutoGlym Body Conditioning & MG Shampoo
8. Bumper - AutoGlym Bumper Care
9. Glass Cleaner - AutoGlym Glass Polish & 3M Glass Cleaner
10.Others - MG Final Inspection & Quick Detailer

Karl_Erik_Chee,
Do you have the link to Zaino's products webpage? It's not sold here in
KCH, but i heard it's really good too compared to MG & AG...so would be
keen to give it a try.
I am currently using AG resin polish & Extra Gloss Protection on my red
aero...but i feel that i were to use AG shampoo, it's not economical, as
it's really expensive! So, any other shampoo brands to recommend as
alternative to AG shampoo, but at the same time, will not strip off the
AG
wax applied?
Another question: which product is good to be used to get rid of swirls?
Any advice?
