What to look out for?
Not easy to detect if they did a good job cleaning it out. Years ago the Sri Muda flood, saw my mechanic did for one of his client, remove seat and carpet and thoroughly clean the whole car.
Unless you can look into those nooks and corners for mud stains....

locate the ecu and look at the ecu socket for mud traces in between....the most hardest part to clean....

But then depends how high the flood waters. Some ECU are near dashboard height, some are in engine and on top, so if flood half the car, then ECU not affected

because major concern on flooded car is the electrical problem...especially expensive ecu/tcu replacement after water damage....
so if ecu/tcu not affected...should be less worry
