I must say that they are a boring tyre to use - nothing much unusual to report. However, noise has increased with mileage - something that the XM2 does not do. But it is cheap - so can change the tyre easily, if annoyed by the noise!

Can attest to the long life of this NE03..... mine did 40k km on the front and it has slightly more than 50% left. inner side wore more around (30% left) naturally as my setup was slightly negative camber on fronts. tyres weren't rotated at all. rear ones was like almost new at 40k km.
forced my tyreman to rotate tyres around 40k-th km. slightly more than 10k km after rotation, disaster struck as a screw puncture pierced through the sidewall after deflation; didn't notice the puncture in time.
no choice but to refrresh all tyre to Hankook new model in town, Kinergy Eco2 K435. Initial impression is K435 is slightly better than NE03 in rolling noise, and comfort. still unknown in terms of rolling resistance and dry/wet braking/handling coz still scrubbing in.

There is another model Toyo SD7, pattern like NE-03......lol
Noise on my NE-03s have increased - but my car hardly does 5,000 kms these days. Still on the 4 year old tyres and there is still lots of thread left after 23,000 kms.

After 5 years just inspect the tyre sidewall. If fine crack lines starts to appear, better to change them. Tyre rubber harden, less traction and scare of blow out on highway......

Hahaha, this forum is dead - surprised it is still online!
Yes, I inspect the tyres periodically but I don't drive on it at high speed anymore. So I will keep monitoring...
Tyre prices are crazy these days - another price increase is coming soon!
