Windscreen insurance coverage? Or is there really such a thing that can protect the front windscreen from cracking when hit by a stone at speed over 100km/h?

Windscreen coverage if different car then okay. If same car then got to top up again after claim. Best is to claim when Insurance going to renew...hhhaahhhaha
If laminated glass then can prolong the change. If small crack, then can repair, but if tempered glass then gone.... smile_blackeye.gif

Anyway, have not seen any windscreen stuff that is fitting to the exterior..... smile_tongue.gif

windscreen wipers will not work on laminate surface...it will get stuck easily.

Found this company almost 5years ago when I was looking for similar product to protect my buses' windscreen. But I have given up on this issue since. Dunno how much the coating cost coz they never replied to my enquiry. There was a write-up on it years ago. Looks impressive though and hope that you have more luck than I do.

If you have used a tinted film on any glass, make sure you use water and an appropriate mild detergent only, in accordance with manufacturer's recommendations. Today it would be no surprise to discover a large number of vehicles with chipped or damaged windscreens.
