hi.
I own a 2007 Peugeot 206 with AL4 Gear and TU5JP4 engine.
I have two questions:
1) I need to replace the engine mount but the genuine one is very expensive, and I want to replace the 65MM bus, I heard the the SASIC 8003201 will be pretty good for me but I don't know the correct installation of the bush because it alitle different from the genuine one (added a picture)

2)my AL4 transmission have an issue, the changing from 3rd to 4th gear is kicking very hard and usually kick in within 2200-2500RPM which cause a 5 second of lag until the RPM reach higher, second thing is the 2nd gear has a delay and RPM drop for 2 seconds (causing the feeling that he changed the gear but is not) its also happens in TIPTRONIC mode, when I am in the second there is still a feeling of gear change.
I did an oil replacement and the two valves replacement.
any ideas plz?

best regards!!

Try change your tyre for those finer patterns and your gear changing will be okay................mine also have this when i am using Falken and Bridgestone ECO.................now after changing to Goodyear Assurance..........the gear changing is smooth sailing.

I have change all the engine mounting and the anti-roll bar bushes too....

I wonder how the tyres affect the gear change?

Vrturbo, same thoughts as well here about the tyres..... Question (2): 1) Delayed engagement from 3rd to 4th. Most likely your the brake band has worn off. had similar issues like this. The car feels like brake being pressed during acceleration until gear change point. Unless its the brake band closest to the torque converter (or engine, i.e this one operates mostly for G1 and G2), there is no need to drop the GB for changing the other 2 brake bands. The 3rd/4th gear brake band looks different than the other 2, so the specialist don't usually call then brake band. It looks like a clutch disk instead. The problem is likely due to a work brake band for this G3-G4 change. This is common and a consumable item. 2) 2nd gear. I think this is your lock-up clutch engaging. It feels like a gear change but it not a real gear change. This should be normal, that means the manufacturer have design it that way, lock-up clutch engagement differs between manufacturers. Because its adaptive, the decision on when to engage the lock-up clutch varies, so there is no had an fast rule to this. Just a 2 cents view here.
