Guys, what is the latest by JPJ? They are enforcing the tint checks eh? I see a lot of JPJ roadblocks recently. I also heard about them wanting to legalise the darker tints. Is that true and confirmed?

I heard last that they are suspending all checks on window tint since the rules are under review. Google it might come up somewhere, as I heard it on radio news. Better have some credible evidence before going up against the authorities.

What I heard is still awaiting approval. Recently done tints on my Hyundai before the new recommended level. Lately went back to touch up then ask the shop boss. He mention still under discussion and awaiting final approval so nothing is concrete yet... smile_blackeye.gif

Before deciding on having a car window tint applied to your vehicle it is a good idea to check the laws that govern your state. There are several resources for this online, so take the time to do research on it.

Here the tint law is country wide not by the state. Latest is 70% VLT for front windscreen, 50% VLT for front side window and 30% for rear side window and rear windscreen.
