Good day to all.
I just bought a 2004 Sonata Gold 2.4L. After driving it for just a week, I found problem yesterday.

While driving, the car suddenly become powerless. The RPM was fluctuating and getting lower.
When I press the fuel pedal, it was not responsive and eventually shutoff and the 'check engine light' come on.

The engine do start but shutdown in few seconds. After about 10mins, the car could be started again tr
and I drove for another 30mins (15km) before the problem start again.

I took the car for troubleshooting this morning and was told that the problem is caused by the immobilizer that came with 2004 Sonata 2.4L.
The boss told me that they will not be able to solve the problem without the original keys (especially the purple color one).
The used car did not get the keys from the previous owner. What I have are pair of keys with different alarm remote.

The diagnostic msg from the programs shows:-
1. P0340 Camshft position sensor A circuit malfunction (Bank 1)
2. P0100 Mass volume airflow circuit.
3. P0500 Vehicle speed sensor A
4. Po105 Manifold absolute pressure / Barometic Pressure circuit

I need advices from guru here.
1. Do I really need to change the "key system/board"?
2. Will I be able to find the part from the "chop" shop?
3. Does any owner experience this problem before?

Appreciate if anyone can help. Thank a lot.
