I have a 1997 dodge intrepid (4 door car) and I am thinking about making it into a truck.
I pretty much just want to make a truck bed behind the front seat - after chopping a bunch of stuff off of it.
Does anybody have any thoughts on this?
I haven't done much with cars, and I haven't welded. I am thinking I'd build the bed out of 2x4s and plywood with deck screws and attach it as much as possible
I guess my main concern is the integrity of the undercarriage if I remove the top of the back end.
If I had more money, of course I'd prefer to buy a truck, but what I have is the car, and it is wrong shape right now.
Thanks for all constructive input.
