Hi,

I'm planning to install twin dcoe 40mm weber into my 4G13P stock engine. Is there anyone here done before this modification and will it be problematic? Hope that any of car owner here done this modification current/before can share your weber experience with me and give some suggestion to me. I'm still a newbie in mod car.

TQ

Oh! weber's ah! Lost touch with them already.
To my knowledge, looks like your 4G13P do not need twin DCOE, the fuel feed may be to much for a 1.3 engine.
My last mod with weber (simple one) was like 15 years ago on an Accord 1.8 using a downdraft weber. Using it's original inlet manifold add an adapter to sit the weber on.
Power did not gain much, could be due to the accord having a much larger body weight. Another similar mod to my friend's Civic shows much more improvement.
Are there any additional mod to your 4G13Pother then the weber's? If not, then the downdaft should be enough.

*Lost touch as most cars nowadays are fuel injected..... smile_tongue.gif

Hi,
Tq for sharing your mod experience with me. I just plan to some basic mod to my engine to gain some extra power. I plan to mod my stock clutch to bigger diameter clutch and ignition system. I don't want to rebore my engine block due to it's still in an excellent condition. Do you know how much fuel pressure need for the weber carb normally cuz I dont think so my stock fuel pressure regulator can support it and will the light weight pulley will kill the top speed of the engine? My Saga 2 can reach until 200km/hr in stock now. For my exhaust part, I still maintain stock extractor but I mod the middle part and a 2 inch diameter racing muffler for the end part. If I mod the weber, do I need to change the exhaust system as well? Any other suggestion for me about the mod except racing cam and turbo. smile.gif

For the clutch I would rather you leave it alone. Bigger diameter not going to add more power. Power comes from the engine. If your clutch is slipping then change the clutch. MY turbo just using normal Exedy clutch and clutch plate. Use racing clutch if you track regularly. If not, better off just using normal clutch. Cheaper and easy maintenance. Racing clutch also heavy...
As mentioned lost touch with Carbies. As for carbs, they have fuel camber, why worry about fuel pressure regulator. As far as I know carb fuel camber uses float, right? Not fuel pressure return unless it is fuel injection.
Changing to weber carb, probably you need tuning that is all....

You are correct. My clutch plate need to change now so probably I will go from stock 7.5' to 8' normal Exedy clutch. Racing clutch will probably too tough for me when pressing the clucth. biggrin.gif Anyway, really thank you for your information bro! smile_thumbup.gif

Ya. I heard that is really quite cheap and efficient too but still prefer carb more. smile_big.gif

For that you will need to source wire harness and ECU. May require Wireman to connect the wires at the final stages.
Lot more work to be done... smile_tongue.gif
