Can't play music from iPhone when connected to the USB port in MK6.
Anybody can advise if the car actually cannot play or just some software problem?

mine is beetle and there is no problem playing music from iphone..however, when u mention USB port,i am not sure if you are referring to the one inside the dash board because that is where i plug my iphone/ipad into..both have no problems playing and i can access the menu from the sound system itself..but,funnily,the quality of the sound is not ideal..its like the speakers sudah pecah but that doesnt seem to be case as when on FM,the speakers sound fine..
perhaps its due to the connection or this 'USB port' of mine sudah rosak..
so what i did was i went to machines and bought an aux cable..cheap nia,rm30 i think..i plug this to the aux and set the sound system to aux and u have to play the songs from ur phone and u cannot charge ur phone..the sound comes out good,no speaker pecah sound.
and i think this is the better option because ur phone will not be out of reach unlike the usb port which is inside the dash board..if u use ur phone to play songs,then if ur phone rings or anything,u cannot get it..
