When Mitsu still had contract with Proton, Mitsu was not sold here except grey imports and recon models, until contract over then the Lancer GT started selling here. Probably more parts for Honda since local assemble.

I remember the last stock of the lancer 1.6glx was discounted as low as 60K before Lancer GT to be on sale after that.

Not sure, but volume was very small if not mistaken. They sold more of the other models rather then the Lancer as this was competing with Proton models...
