[frozen]

recently my nissan frontier stopped in the middle of the road as it ran out of gas! i filled it up but coudnt get it to start although i pumped under the hood. I suspected air inside the injectors and the mechanic said that same thing. nevertheless they managed to start it and adivised to change my battery as it was over 2 yrs old.

later on, they mentioned that sepite cahngong the battery its very hard to start the car as the compression in the cylinders are below 25. they suggested an overhaul and estimated it to cost RM 30K.

I know that that diesel engines should run at least 300K km befor even considering an overhaul and it should not cost one third of that!

I got the car back but its taking ages to start. can anyone plz advise what i should do?

any help would be greatly appreciated.
