the answer...

Good question, why they decide to field a relatively underpowered car in
open class is beyond me, they could have qualified and maybe have a
fighting chance at winning class A had they decide to use a TTC spec
Tierra/LYNX RS but yet they choose to use a B8 210 which nullified the
entrance into class A.. This and their decision to water down the RS...
FORD MALAYSIA BOLEH!

Its a pity, but at least they've learnt some lessons which can be applied
for MME 2004.

regulation ) put in the Mustang with truck engine which they used for drag
in US n set the fastest record in the world that one la. Or else, take
Nascar come. hehehe

Sad to say, FORD should NOT have entered the race in Class O. Maybe there
was lack of homework done or over confident.Thinking that it is an
endurance race, maybe they can succeed over time by how abt getting
qualified in the first place.
Well, a good lesson learned, in future FORD Racing team must study the
competiton & take all aepects into consideration carefully b4 entering a
event, no good to cry over spilled milk, the team shd look into the 2004
race and make an impact to redeem themselves.
Good luck boys, i'm sure FORD can do it better next time.

Motorsports nowadays is very competitive, you could have a car ready for
qualifying but on that day, the car setting might be a little out, engine
might have a little problem, etc. etc. and with those timings close to one
thousandth of a second apart, one can missed out bay a fraction of an eye
blink.
We must give the team the benefit of the doubt, most probable they were
running into some problems during qualifying, this always happen. There is
also the Honda backed team driven by our top Mal drivers also missed out
in the starting grid, they too might also be bog down with some sort of
porblem maybe.
Anyway, we hope Ford will make a little more effort by supplying a really
competitive car next year, but MUST let Mal drivers race it, to redeem the
image and the pride for all Fordies in Mal like us.
Let's see in 2004.

It's highly likely that there are more than a few official 'DOMESTIC'
ford guys monitoring this site, local management? they are the best?
wor.. RESPECT! , same goes with the product, why bother? when they are
not going to go the whole hog?
