My establishment has detailed more than 25 CX5s since launch (infamous for its blur reflections that needs loads of paint correction and not helped one bit by the Tribos applied on sub-standardly applied clearcoat). One morning, while another CX5 was enroute to my place, an accident took place. Even though it was an insurance claim situation, the CX5 owner was shocked by the price of spare parts.
1 pc of headlight (not 1 pair): Approx $4200 !!!!
(in comparison, 1pc of headlight for Honda CR-Z is approx $2000)
2mths ago, there were no stocks of headlights and front bumper.
But since the CX5 is now being assembled for other foreign markets, let's hope spare parts prices will be more realistic and availability improves.

The headlamps is bi-xenon integrated with AFS, being a genuine part from Japan, the price would not be cheap due to currency exchange.
