Hello G88,
Mine is a brand new car with pearl white.. park at home, with covered park park.
Lucky its pearl white, thus should have clear coat and the routine proposed should work well.
Can I guess its a Camry?

Umm If its a new car i won't go for any RB since i don't see there is a 'need'. What i did was i just wash, clay and dry to check on defect. It those swirl are not severe i will just do a paint cleaning then just wax or sealant.
If not than just use a MILD polisher or AIO with ROB...follow by wax or sealant.
Light colour car's swirl is not visible at all vs dark colour...
Continously i just wash every week at least once else 3-4 times in regardless got drive or not (under cover car park
).
When i no longer tahan to try new stuff, i just ROB again the surface...apply with coating and continous wassh and top up with wax whenever i like

Bro G88
Thanks for the tips. The new surfaces is still smooth, so I might just wash and put some sealants on it. And keep it with aquawax.. hehe

put a clean plastic bag in your hand..make it like a glove. Rub on the clean surface..if its glide smoothly mean your surface is very clean (no contamination) ...
If you hear very fine sandpaper alike sound...mean surface is rough
** I just did the same thing
Here's my clay result after done whole car

Fiesta's OEM paintwork generally has loads of OP and very blur (similar to Mazdas) soft clearcoat.
At least on a blue Fiesta, the vibrancy of that colour can still overpower the perceived blurness.
For a stunning Fiesta which is significantly different, i wetsanded sides and hood with 2000g, followed by numerous rounds of compounding.
