Hello to all fellow Waja 1.8 sifus and owners,
I am planning to go for a machine flush my Waja 1.8 gearbox. Was quoted > RM 500.
The towkay say the GB is sensitive, doesn't dare to use other oil.

Anyone experience with cheaper oil flush and then filling with renaultmatic?
Or taking apart the GB and clean it manually is a better option, considering the price?

Appreciate your input. Thanks in advance.

Is yr gb having problem and u want to try flushing it to see if the problem is solved?

If not then changing the atf on regular basis is sufficient.
If us still insist on flushing then only use elf renaultmatic.
Why?
There is no guarantee unwill extract all the cheap atf b4 filling it will elf renaulmatic d3.

Thanks for reply bro Gunnerzz. Sometimes when accelerating, the car will jerk abit.
Doesnt happen everytime but its annoying.

Just came across Pe*ronas D3 ATF. 4 Liter for RM 75. I was like thts like crazy cheap!!
But not sure if its safe for consumption smile_big.gif
Renaulmatic would cost > 200 for 4L.

Anyone tried before?

I think yr problem might have noting to do with the gb.
How is yr starting? Easy or hard at certain time?
I experience this b4 it stated to have minor jerk while accelerating n cruising.
The crank sensor is the problem.

I think I got my crank sensor replaced before. i felt no improvement .
i asked the mech b4, and he said its the crankshaft. mmm..i am not sure abt tht.

feel the jerk esp when change from first to second gear. Anyway i just changed
my atf. was charged 58 per bottle x 4.

used to change ever 20K km. but things might change due to hard times smile.gif
