Every time i drive over the hump or uneven road there is thud sound and vibration on my steering wheel. Got it checked with the service center and they did some adjustment on the steering rack, it stopped for awhile. Now the sound is back. Appreciate your advice and guidance. FYI my car is Sonata NF 2.4 bought it brand new in Feb 2012 and carries the 5 years warranty. Current mileage is 38K.

although mine is the 2.4 YF, I have a similar problem.. mine is attributed to the anti-roll bar. I changed mine to the Ultra Racing bar quite a while ago and after that the problem started. The sound and vibration will keep coming back after adjustment because the bar and bush doesn't fit properly and flush as it should.
So you could ask the sc to have a look at that as well... hope you get it fixed!!
