Hi,
My Volks got scratched and it seems to be quite deep and long. I don't know what happened but I suspected it got scratched in the car park for no apparent reason -.-
Anyway, any suggestion from sifu on how to get it fixed?
1. Should I buy the paint based on the color code and pass to a specialist to do? If yes, where can I buy the paint based on the color code (other than going back to Volkswagen)?
2. Any specialist to recommend who can do a good job with an affordable price?
Thanks!!

Looks very deep as can see your undercoat already. If you are giving to professional to repaint no need to buy paint as they can do it on your behalf. However to do a good job best is to spray the whole panel...

ya, but in my opinion it's much much better to spray panel-by-panel. otherwise, the repaired part might be of a slightly different shade to the rest of the panel....
the scratch is bloody deep...the scratcher must be super angry...did you double-parked your car? last time my fren also kena because he double-parked..

Looks like reach the base coat and possible near metal already. Send to professionals, ask them if they know the colour code (test by asking them, or go look if they have the colour code book/brochure).
Most likely you have provoked someone that you may not aware, or got jealous people.

This is actually the worst headache of all.
Spray whole panel and it really depends on the painter's experience. A lot of good painters also say this is difficult as they need to do color correction to the nearest 90-95%
I had a similar experience before but my line was only 4-5 cm. hence, sent to a 'professional' called ChipsAway. Reasonable quote so did it on the spot.
Came out, can see the color difference obviously!!!! Worst, can see it was kinda sprayed on the damage part only. It's like a circle with a lighter color!!!! I asked the boss, felix why is it like that and he said the paint need time to 'DRY'!!!! asked me to give it a couple of days and if its still the same, bring it back to him.
After a few days, problem maintain the same. Brought it back and he said, there's no problem... He said could be lighting as it plays an important part!!! Arrrggghhh.... So tired of arguing that I left it like that and vouch never to return again!
Before the repairs, I actually asked my usual painters and he advise to leave it coz it'll cost me more money to get it sprayed as they need to do 'layering' to match the original paint colors...
What to do... An expensive lesson learnt!

Yes, bro. S40, either leave the scratch alone or if can get the color paint just touch up to prevent any rusting.
If want to repair must spray whole panel. I did once by spraying only the scratch. Color was good, can see no difference but after a year or two depending on upkeep, the color starts to change....The respray and original starts to differ in tone...
