Part 2: Well this happened on 22/3/13.
I was joining the main road. Lately the car had been jerking like misfiring, but closed one eye, waiting for the 10k service. Well it began doing it while moving (aka dragging), so i press the gas to rev to 3000rpm so i can merge into the road. Suddenly no power, check engine light came, flashing, made an emergency lane change (3 lanes) and hazards on. Off engine, it went off. On back then OK. Still shaking and jerking at the traffic light when idle. Now even worse.
Took it back to Glenmarie Hyundai to get them to take it in for repair. Car's engine seriously insane. And they first refused to give me a courtesy car. After speaking to the management of Hyundai Malaysia, immediately approved -.-
Manager at Glenmarie trying to convince me its a different problem. I am no mechanic, how to say yes? And I suspect cause after 4 unsuccessful repairs on a persistent problem, I can file a case. This visit was the fourth.
Called the manager countless times, he never answers the phone and takes so long to return calls. He says they notice it was severe in the morning today. They replaced the spark plugs and said a software problem is there so they resetted the ECU. 3rd time! Dunno when the car is coming out.
Really at wits end. What to do? Is there a lemon law or buyback policy in Malaysia? I don't mind making them buy it back.

any follow ups with your poor i10??
Sorry that you've gone through so much trouble... myself is driving i10, so far 30k km not giving me problem yet. i think your issue is not only i10. the issue is more towards the after sales of HSDM.. how the tackle the problem, etc..
i'm quite worry also after reading your post...
