Hi all F10/E60/E39/any BMW series owners,

just wanna ask if you guy have face this issue?

Yesterday, my F10 523i, year 2010 suddenly have jerking at low rpm and around speed of 40km/h - 50km/h
any speed above this, jerking until the car shaking....

went to auto bavaria and check, they said should be gearbox issue, but need to check.

WT Fxxk, the car was only 3 yrs old, and milleage also not high, around 58kkm only...just gam gaam over warranty, then it turn out saying gearbox got problem!?!?!?!?!?

any owner have this issue and how you guys solve it ?

When the car was jerking at low speed, was the rpm erratic? Did you notice a large blow of black smoke from your exhaust? If this is the case, probably AFM.
If its GB, could be many possiblities. Easiest would be to reprogram the GB. Gotta leave ur car overnight for them to reprogram.

Bro, did you buy this car new or used?

If you buy this car new, dont follow the BMW BSRI program. Take your car in after 10K km for servicing and dont drag until it is too late. Problem now with BMW is that they throw in the BSRI offer to customer and drags the service interval to so long. It cant work....no car can withstand not being serviced for 20k km.

I remember my mechanic telling me either buy a new car and then service in between by yourself or you buy recond, because sometimes recond cars are taken care well previously by their overseas owners unlike those CKD cars nowadays.

You're 100% correct. All German cars have too many fancy and unnecessary electronics that's unreliable and end up sapping your money away. The BIG money is not in selling cars...its in the PARTS.
Even worse, if you've always been driving non-Conti cars and suddenly buy a Conti vehicle first time in your life, you might be going down a path of frustration and disappointment.
